Electricity is the third release from Concretism, a musical project started by Chris Sharp in 2010. Concretism is a world of dusty archival sounds and grim Cold War Britain, conjured up using a combination of analogue synthesizers and tape bouncing.

This album is a compilation of previous tracks that, although available for download, have never been physically available before. It also includes a new track written exclusively for this release.

Electricity was released on vinyl LP on June 24th, 2016 and includes ten tracks with a total running time of 41'36". Packaged in a monochrome card sleeve and pressed on grey vinyl. The first 100 copies were hand numbered with a sticker and were only available direct from Castles in Space.

Great record. wears it's influences proudly ..but retains a sliver of identity that is uniquely British and has a northern feel to it..I think that these geographic musical vignettes are realy evocotive of northern Newtown Uber estates and satellite communities..I hope this translates to a wider audience for him...he deserves the attention. give him his due .NOW . christopherogley
